UPDATE Our assurance to you
Vaccination and testing regulations as of May 10, 2023
No vaccinations or pre-cruise tests are currently required for travel outside Australia and
New Zealand.
This policy is currently being revised for voyages to Australia and New Zealand taking place in autumn 2023. If you are joining one of these voyages, please check our website for the most up to date information shortly before your travel date.
Although Covid 19 vaccination is no longer required for Cunard voyages, we recommend that all guests travelling on our ships have full Covid 19 vaccination cover and boosters if possible and available.
If you show symptoms of Covid-19 or feel unwell in the days before your voyage, we strongly recommend that you have a Covid-19 test before your voyage and only board the ship if it is negative. If you have any symptoms on the day of embarkation, please report this to the terminal or check-in staff. Guests who test positive within 7 days prior to departure will not be allowed to board.
Our vaccination and testing policies and protocols on board are reviewed regularly and are subject to change at any time. Should the requirements for a voyage change, affected guests will be contacted directly prior to the voyage. In addition, some ports may impose specific vaccination or testing guidelines for guests going ashore at the time of travel that differ from the Cunard vaccination and testing guidelines.
Compliance with all entry requirements of the relevant country at the time of departure is the sole responsibility of the guest. Please refer to the relevant government websites for information. Cunard Line accepts no responsibility should entry to a country be refused due to non-compliance with entry requirements.
Health insurance with worldwide validity
We strongly recommend that you purchase comprehensive travel insurance. It should include medical insurance coverage, emergency evacuations, and cover medical expenses related to Covid-19. It should also cover costs for return transportation to your home country, trip cancellation and interruption, and any pre-existing medical conditions worldwide or at least in the countries you will be visiting. It is the guest's own responsibility to have appropriate insurance.
** Please note the following information **
We cannot accept guests who have tested positive for COVID-19, self-isolate within 10 days prior to travel, or require supplemental oxygen (including via an oxygen concentrator), mechanical ventilatory support (except CPAP overnight for sleep apnea) and dialysis are required. Three days prior to departure, you must complete an online health declaration at My Voyage (my.cunard.com).
Once you are on board, everyone must adhere to the most current protocols.
